Meeting: Open Turning on the Lathe 6-6:30
Special guest: Kurt Bird, President of Stateline Woodturners (Arkansas) and his
Demonstration is about Finials. Golden Mean and how to determine
appropriate shapes and sizes.

Open turning on the lathe 9 AM - 2 PM
March 26,27, 2010 is the date set for Boy Scout learn to turn.
Friday 3-6PM and Saturday 11-4
We will do beads and coves practice following lathe safety information and test.
Then turn a honey dipper. On Saturday we will do a pen and if time permits they
can make two pens. The students will learn to drill blanks and every thing
involved in making pens.
We now meet at the Tulsa Wood Arts Center on the South side of the Rose
Gardens.
The meeting will start at the usual time of 6:30pm, but we are adding something
new, a lathe will be set up from 6:00 to 6:30pm and someone will be there
to answer any questions you might have about turning.

Meetings
Member meetings are every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm, except
when we bring in a turner for a special all day demonstration. Those months
the demonstration usually takes the place of the normal Tuesday meeting.
